Hundreds of thousands learners have register for courses offered by Coursera, EdX and FutureLearn, organsations that provide Massively Opes Online Courses - MOOC - in collaboration with international universities.

The participating universities include world class institutions like Harvard, Berkley and Ecole Polytechnique. The format is a mix of video and exersices, some of which are submitted to the university for grading.

The courses are in many cases identical to the ones offered on campus, only attuned to on-line learners. And yes, you may obtain a certificate verifying your achievements and carrying the signature of the university

And if you feel like the exams are not for you, OntosOn alternatively offers a verification process based on presentations and interviews. You will receive a document signed by OntosOn stating what you have accomplished.
